Terms and Conditions for the Live Projects Section of LMS

1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions apply specifically to the Live Projects Section within the Learning Management System (LMS) of TARS Technologies. By accessing or engaging with the Live Projects Section, you agree to abide by these terms, in addition to the general Terms and Conditions of the LMS. These terms are designed to ensure a transparent and effective learning environment for all students, educators, and stakeholders involved.

2. Eligibility To participate in the Live Projects Section, you must:

  • Be a registered user of the LMS.

  • Have successfully completed the necessary pre-requisite courses, if applicable, as per the guidance provided in the LMS.

  • Be willing to adhere to the deadlines, rules, and requirements for project completion as outlined by the project coordinator or mentor.

3. Purpose of Live Projects The Live Projects Section provides students with hands-on learning opportunities by working on real-world industry projects. This section is designed to:

  • Enhance your technical expertise.

  • Develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Provide exposure to real-life challenges in various IT fields.

  • Prepare you for the job market by offering a portfolio of completed projects.

4. Project Assignment and Completion

  • Assignment of Projects: Projects are assigned based on the student's skill level, interests, and availability. Students may be required to complete an initial skill assessment to ensure they are matched with an appropriate live project.

  • Project Duration: Each live project has a specific duration. You are expected to complete the assigned tasks within the given timeframe.

  • Guidance and Mentorship: A project mentor or supervisor will be assigned to guide you throughout the project. While the mentor will provide support, students are expected to take responsibility for the project's execution.

  • Deadlines: Adherence to deadlines is critical. Extensions may be granted only under exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the project mentor.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership of Deliverables: All deliverables created as part of the live project (e.g., code, documentation, designs) shall be considered the intellectual property of TARS Technologies or the respective client organization, depending on the nature of the project.

  • Use of Completed Projects: You are permitted to use the completed project as part of your portfolio and to showcase it for job applications or academic purposes. However, you are not authorized to sell or distribute the project’s content without explicit permission from TARS Technologies or the respective project client.

6. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure

  • You agree to maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary information you access through the live projects. This includes, but is not limited to, confidential business data, code, technical specifications, and any other sensitive information shared during the project.

  • You are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before beginning any live project work, ensuring that you do not share or misuse any project-related information.

7. Code of Conduct

  • Professionalism: You are expected to demonstrate professionalism throughout the live project experience, including communication with your mentors, teammates, and clients.

  • Collaboration: You may be required to work with other students on group projects. Collaboration and teamwork are encouraged, and you are expected to contribute equally to the success of the project.

  • Respect for Deadlines: Timely completion of tasks and deliverables is mandatory. Failure to meet deadlines may affect your eligibility for further participation in live projects.

8. Certification and Recognition

  • Upon successful completion of a live project, you may receive a certificate recognizing your contribution and achievement.

  • Successful project completion may also lead to recommendations from mentors or industry partners, potentially facilitating future career opportunities.

9. Payment and Pricing

  • Project Fee: Participation in live projects is part of the overall LMS fee structure, which is ₹4,999 for access to the LMS courses and live projects section.

  • Refunds: No refunds will be issued for participation in live projects unless the project is canceled by TARS Technologies. Any such cancellations will be communicated to the student, and alternatives will be provided where possible.

10. User Responsibilities

  • Quality of Work: You are expected to produce high-quality work in accordance with the specifications provided for each project. Failure to do so may result in project rejection or exclusion from future live projects.

  • Communication: You must maintain regular communication with your mentor and project team members. This includes updating your mentor on progress, addressing any challenges you encounter, and seeking assistance when needed.

  • Platform Usage: You must comply with all platform usage policies and refrain from using the LMS platform for unauthorized activities.

11. Termination and Suspension TARS Technologies reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Live Projects Section if you:

  • Violate these terms and conditions.

  • Fail to meet project requirements.

  • Engage in unethical or unprofessional behavior.

  • Breach confidentiality agreements.

12. Limitation of Liability TARS Technologies will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your participation in live projects. Participation is at your own risk, and you agree to hold TARS Technologies harmless for any issues related to project completion, communication with mentors or clients, or potential third-party disputes.

13. Changes to Terms and Conditions TARS Technologies reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants via email or platform notifications. Continued participation in the Live Projects Section after such modifications will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
